How do I turn one good task into a routine?

Do the task once, well
A routine repeats a method. If the first run is wrong, the weekday run will be wrong too.
Write the clock
Say the days, the time, and the time zone. 8:00 without a zone is how a note arrives at night.
Name the inputs
Say which mailbox, calendar, or file it may read. A wide instruction such as every email needs Ask first.
Say what failure looks like
If the file is missing or the login expired, it should stop and tell you. It should not invent the number.
Check the first three runs
