Solobility is a free strengths test for people who run a business on their own: a florist, a baker, a handyman, a tutor, a designer, a software builder. It shows what you are good at, what is costing you time, and what an AI helper or a tool could carry.
When you work for yourself, you do everything: the craft you are known for, and everything around it. Replies, quotes, scheduling, invoices, posts, bookkeeping. Most of the tiredness in a one-person business comes from the second list, not the first.
What has changed is that much of that second list can now be carried by AI helpers and simple tools. The florist can have her product descriptions and order replies written for her and keep the arranging. The baker can have quotes and reminders sent while his hands are in the dough. The question is no longer "can I do it all?" but "which parts should I keep, which should I learn, and which should I hand to a helper?"
Solobility answers that in about seven minutes. It maps six sides of running a business on your own (Direct, Design, Delegate, Distribute, Durable, Develop) and twenty plain-word strengths. Every strength carries a hand-off rating, so the report can tell you which gaps to develop yourself and which to simply hand over. And it speaks in the language of your own trade: every solo business has a craft, the part only you do, and the rest. Solobility never suggests handing over the craft.
It is honest about what it is. Solobility is a structured self-reflection tool with a published item bank and a clear model behind it, not a validated psychometric instrument. Scores are shown as bands and ranks, never decimals. Beginners are never scored as broken: if you have not started, the report calls your lowest strengths not yet built, because they are simply next.
It is free, with no account and no paywall, because a strengths tool for people who work alone should be available to every one of them, in every country. It is written in plain language with no idioms and no country-specific examples, so it reads the same everywhere.
